Radius
Preoperative simulation
Osteosynthesis material (implant and plate) treatment simulation model
Fractures of the distal end of the radius due to falls and other causes can cause not only wrist pain
but also complications such as dislocation (misalignment), deformity, and nerve damage. If the fracture
does not heal completely with cast immobilization, it must be surgically repaired and then firmly fixed
with a plate.
JMC Lab's preoperative simulator allows us to create a full-scale model of the patient and verify the
fixation of the plate before surgery.
